Why convert H.264 to H.265?
H.265/HEVC is roughly twice as efficient as H.264: at the same visual quality the file is about half the size — great for archiving footage or sending large videos. The conversion uses your device's hardware encoder, runs entirely in the browser, and the audio track is passed through without re-encoding.
